IPL 2026: Rohit Sharma returns to Playing XI for Mumbai Indians against Lucknow Super Giants

Rohit Sharma returned to Mumbai Indians’ playing eleven for the IPL 2026 match against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.

The T20 World Cup-winning captain has been missing in action since MI’s game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on April 12, when he retired out on 19 off 13 balls.

The hamstring injury has kept the former skipper out for five league games, and MI has struggled in his absence. The team is currently placed ninth in the table, level on points with its opponent on the night.

In the four matches he has played this season, Rohit has scored 137 runs at 45.66 at a strike rate of 165.06.
