Ngidi missed the last two games after he suffered a neck injury while attempting a catch during DC’s match against Punjab Kings, on April 25.
Ngidi made his comeback against Chennai Super Kings today, and took the important wicket of CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad off his very first over.
“I got really worried and nervous as he(Ngidi) was not responding to treatment from the medics on the ground when it happened. Thankfully, he recovered well and is back to playing now, big relief for me and the entire camp,” remarked Badani in an interview with the commentators during DC’s match against CSK.
