Chennai Super Kings is facing a tall chase after conceding 203 for eight against Lucknow Super Giants at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 10.
If it is to win and boost its playoff hopes, it will need to chase a 180-plus total for the first time in eight years.
CSK hasn’t successfully chased a target of 180 or more since 2018, when it overhauled Sunrisers Hyderabad’s 180-run total in Pune with an over to spare.
