Rahim notched up his 14th ton in the format in the second innings of the match to go past Mominul Haque’s tally of 13 centuries.
The seasoned wicketkeeper-batter is also Bangladesh’s top run scorer in the longest format, having amassed over 6,700 runs in 102 matches.
The 39-year-old has been a steady presence for Bangladesh across formats. He is also Bangladesh’s second-highest run-scorer in ODIs, with 7795 runs. He has also played over 100 T20Is for his country, scoring 1500 runs.
Rahim scored a crucial 71 in the first innings of the series opener against Pakistan as Bangladesh notched up a 104-run win in Mirpur.
