Raghuvanshi appeared to sustain the injury while diving full length attempting a catch off the bowling of Varun Chakaravarthy in the 11th over of Mumbai Indians’ innings. He initally continued to keep after the incident, but went off for treatment in the 14th over.
Tejasvi Dahiya kept wickets for the remainder of the innings.
Raghuvanshi’s absence is a major blow for KKR, which needs to win its remaining two matches to complete an unlikely turnaround and qualify for the Playoffs. The 24-year-old is the side’s leading run-scorer in IPL 2026, and has scored 422 runs at a strike-rate of 146.52.
Broadcasters initially announced Ramandeep Singh as his replacement, but the substitute is yet to be confirmed.
