A confusion in calling heads or tails at the toss led to two coin flips during Qualifier 2 between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals in New Chandigarh on Friday.
As Shubman Gill flipped the coin in the air, Rajasthan Royals’ captain Riyan Parag called for heads but the match referee Prakash Bhatt did not hear the call clearly.
Though the coin fell in favour of Gujarat Titans, the match referee decided to undergo the process again.
The second coin toss ultimately fell in Parag’s favour, who opted to bat first.
