After achieving success in the field of smart glasses, the company is now developing an AI Pendant, which will work like a personal AI assistant for the users. According to a report, Meta can offer this device under its new subscription-based program ‘Wearables for Work’, whose main focus will be on enterprise and office users.

According to the report, this AI Pendant of Meta will be able to prepare a summary of the users by understanding their everyday conversations and interactions. Its purpose is to increase the productivity of employees and help them remember important information easily. It is being told that the initial testing of this product can start by the end of this year.

Actually, Meta had acquired an AI wearable startup named Limitless last year. This company makes pendant-style devices that can record and transcribe real-world conversations. It is believed that Meta’s new AI Pendant will present this technology in a more advanced form.

What is Wearables for Work?
Meta’s new Wearables for Work program is being prepared especially for companies and large organizations. Initially the company will run a pilot program in selected big organizations. According to the report, Meta can deploy around 100 devices in each selected organization. The company also plans to sell approximately 10 million AI wearable devices by the second half of 2026 and expand its reach into many new countries.

Work continues on smart glasses also
Apart from AI Pendant, Meta is also expanding its smart glasses portfolio. According to reports, the company may launch four new smart glasses by the end of 2026. These are said to include models like Modelo, Luna, RBM2 Refresh and Mojito CIP. Apart from this, work is also going on on future prototypes like Artemis and SSD.
