Acer Iconia Duo series launched, great option for both work and entertainment
Acer has expanded its tablet portfolio ahead of Computex 2026 by launching the new Iconia Duo series. The company has introduced Acer Iconia Duo S14, Iconia Duo S12 and Iconia Duo D12 tablets under this series. These new devices have been designed keeping in mind both productivity and entertainment. The special thing is that all three tablets run on Android 16 and have new displays with 3:2 aspect ratio.
Features of Acer Iconia Duo S14- The flagship model of the new series is Iconia Duo S14. It has a 14.2-inch OLED display, which supports 2.8K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. This tablet is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor and works on Android 16.
For photography, it has a 13MP primary camera and 5MP macro camera. Apart from this, features like Wi-Fi 6E, quad stereo speaker, dual microphone and fingerprint scanner in power button are also available.
What is special in Iconia Duo S12 and D12?
Acer Iconia Duo S12 has a 12.2-inch 2.8K OLED display, whose brightness is up to 600 nits. It comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage. Anti-glare and anti-fingerprint nano-textured glass has been used in it.
Whereas Iconia Duo D12 has been introduced for budget users. It has a 12.2 inch display, 90Hz refresh rate and 2400×1600 pixel resolution. It comes with MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Stylus and up to 1TB storage support
All three tablets support accessories like Active Stylus, Magnetic Keyboard and Kickstand. Apart from this, storage can be increased up to 1TB through microSD card.
Acer claims that all models are capable of providing up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. The company will reveal the prices of these tablets soon, while their sales are expected to start in the second half of 2026. The new Iconia Duo series can prove to be a great option for those users who want both productivity and entertainment in their tablet.
