India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has unveiled its first Flex Fuel motorcycles, taking a big step towards promoting clean and self-reliant mobility in the country. The company has launched Flex Fuel versions of popular commuter bikes Splendor+ and HF Deluxe. These motorcycles are capable of running on ethanol blended fuel ranging from E20 to E85, which will reduce dependence on petrol and also reduce carbon emissions.
These bikes were unveiled in the presence of Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in a program organized in New Delhi. The company will start selling these bikes in select areas of Delhi and Maharashtra from July 2026. After this, they will be made available in the entire country in a phased manner. The ex-showroom price of HF Deluxe Flex Fuel has been kept at Rs 72,792 and the price of Splendor+ Flex Fuel has been kept at Rs 82,710. Let us know about both the bikes.
Hero Splendor+ Flex Fuel
The new Splendor+ Flex Fuel has a 97.2 cc engine, which generates power of 6.3 kW and torque of 8.3 Nm on E85 fuel. It claims better performance than the base model. The bike has Hero’s patented i3S idle start-stop technology, new digi-analog instrument cluster, side-stand engine cut-off, tubeless tires and updated ECU and fuel system for Flex Fuel support. It has been introduced with new Black with Lime Yellow graphics.
Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel
HF Deluxe Flex Fuel also gets a 97.2 cc engine, which produces 6.3 kW of power and 8.3 Nm of torque on E85 fuel. It has a new digi-analog instrument cluster, side-stand engine cut-off, tubeless tires and updated ECU and fuel system for Flex Fuel. The bike has been presented with attractive Black with Lime Yellow graphics. The company believes that this model will prove to be an economical and eco-friendly option for everyday use.
