Harmanpreet Kaur’s side has been handed a tough draw, having been drawn in Group 1 along with Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Netherlands.
It will begin its campaign with a clash against neighbour Pakistan in Birmingham on June 14.
The 12 teams in the tournament have been split into two groups of six, with the top two from each progressing to the semifinals.
