IND vs AFG: Manav Suthar picks five wickets on Test debut

Manav Suthar completed his five-wicket haul on Test debut against Afghanistan at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Monday.

Suthar became the 10th Indian bowler and seventh spinner to complete a five-for on Test debut.

He finished with figures of six for 33 in 22 overs — joint third-best among Indians on debut. Narendra Hirwani registered the best two figures across innings against the West Indies in Chennai in 1988.

Incidentally, Suthar had also scored 28 runs with the bat.
