The 10th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will get underway in England and Wales on June 12, marking the biggest tournament in the competition’s history.

For the first time, 12 teams will compete for the title, while the Netherlands will make its maiden appearance at the event.

Despite the expansion, the tournament will retain the format used in previous editions. The 12 teams have been split into two groups of six, with each side playing every other team in its group once.

India has been placed in Group A alongside Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Netherlands.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, scheduled to be held at The Oval on June 30 and July 2. The winners of those matches will meet in the final at Lord’s on July 5.

Groups for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026:

Group A: India, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Netherlands.

Group B: England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, and West Indies.
