An all-female match officials panel has been confirmed, featuring 14 umpires and four match referees. They will oversee the expanded 12-team World Cup, which will now feature 33 games.
Nine members of the umpire team from the 2024 edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup will return, as Claire Polosak stands in the middle for a sixth T20 World Cup.
Jacqueline Williams is set for her fifth T20 World Cup and starts at Edgbaston, where host England will hope for a fast start against Sri Lanka on June 12.
There are 30 group matches between June 12 and June 28, with the top two teams from Group A and Group B qualifying for the semifinals.
The match officials for the semifinals and final will be announced at a later date.
