A new and powerful phone is going to enter the Indian smartphone market today. Redmi Turbo 5, the first smartphone of the new Turbo series of Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi, will be launched in India today. The company has organized the launch event at 12 noon, which can be watched live on the official YouTube channel of Redmi India.

Redmi Turbo 5 has already been launched in China and now it is being introduced for Indian customers. According to the information revealed before the launch, this phone can come with a big battery, powerful processor and premium design.

Possible features of Redmi Turbo 5

Redmi Turbo 5 is confirmed to have a 1.5K fluid display with 120Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i support will also be provided to protect the display. The model launched in China had a 6.59-inch screen, so the same size display is expected to be available in the Indian variant as well.

For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor will be provided in the smartphone. This chipset claims to provide a great experience during gaming, multitasking and everyday use. The phone can get support for 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

7540mAh battery and 100W fast charging

The biggest feature of Redmi Turbo 5 may be its 7540mAh battery. With such a big battery, users will not have to worry about charging for a long time. Apart from this, the phone will also have 100W fast charging support, so that the battery can be charged in less time.

For photography, Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to have dual rear camera setup. In this, a 50 megapixel primary camera can be provided with OIS and EIS support. Although the company has not yet disclosed the Indian price, but its starting price in China was kept around Rs 30,000. In such a situation, its price in India is expected to remain in the same range. After launch, this smartphone will be available for sale on Amazon and other online platforms.
