The government’s cyber security agency CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) has issued a major alert. Hackers are sending dangerous malware to people’s computers in a new and extremely vicious way, due to which your personal information can be stolen and you may suffer loss.
According to cyber experts, hackers first hack someone’s WhatsApp account. After this, they send virus files to his friends, family and office colleagues from the same hacked account.

What will happen when you open the file?
As soon as you download or open that file, that virus enters your computer. After this, hackers take over your entire computer or laptop remotely. They can steal your personal photos, passwords and very sensitive bank related information.
What to do to stay safe?
- Do not download or open any unknown or suspicious file.
- Even if a file comes in the name of a known person, confirm with him first.
- Always keep WhatsApp, operating system and antivirus updated.
