The polio vaccine immunisation drive on Sunday, June 28 got a good response at many centres across Mylapore.
The Public Health Centre on Appu Mudali Street had a good response – with mothers and their babes lining up as early as 9 a.m.
Nurses provided the drops and also made a mark on the baby’s left hand finger which would say that the child was immunised.
A doctor here said that the immunisation will continue on Monday morning.
