A big cyber security issue has come to light regarding Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro. According to the report, after the alleged cyber attack on Apple’s Indian supplier Tata Electronics, a large number of private files have been leaked on the dark web. According to the report, these files also include parts, supplier information and some pictures related to the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro.

According to Reuters report, ransomware group World Leaks has posted more than 2 lakh files on the dark web. Some of these documents link individual components of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to their suppliers. It has been claimed in the report that these files also contain information related to the chips used in the battery, camera and main circuit board.

Impact on new iPhone plans?
It is being told that Apple does not make such information about its supplier network public. In such a situation, if these documents are proved to be genuine, then it may affect the company’s supply chain, business strategy and future product plans. However, Reuters report also states that it has not been able to independently verify this leaked data.

According to the report, Apple’s ‘Confidential’ watermark and internal codenames related to iPhone 18 Pro have also appeared on many documents. Apart from this, it has also been told in the files that for which parts Apple is dependent on many suppliers and for which components it uses limited companies.

No official statement came
Apple and Tata Electronics have not yet made any official comment on this matter. Even before this, reports had come out that Apple is investigating this incident and is working with Tata Electronics to strengthen the security. It is said that Tata has limited access to some internal systems during the investigation and has taken the help of a global consulting firm for forensic audit.

New iPhones will come this year
It is worth noting that Apple can launch iPhone 18 series in September. This data leak, which came to light at such a time, is being considered a matter of concern for the company.
