Design and look
In terms of design, the Burgman Street 125 stands out from the crowd due to its distinctive maxi-scooter look. Its front apron is quite muscular, with the large windscreen giving it a sporty and premium appeal. New color options and fresh graphics are seen in the 2026 model, which make its look more modern. Its biggest feature is its wide front footboard, where you can sit comfortably with your legs spread forward (like a cruiser bike), which does not allow you to get tired during long riding.

Engine of Suzuki Burgman Street.
Engine and Performance
It has a 124cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which comes with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. This engine generates power of about 8.7 PS and torque of 10 Nm. The refinement of the engine is clearly felt as soon as you start it. Mileage is around 40-45 KMPL. Its initial pickup is quite smooth. When you move ahead of a traffic signal, it picks up speed quickly without any lag. Its mid-range performance is excellent between speeds of 40 to 70 km/h, making overtaking on highways or open roads very easy.

ride experience
When we took it from home to office, we were impressed by its light handling in the heavy traffic of Delhi-NCR. It did not seem heavy at all to take it through narrow streets and traffic. Due to the wide and long seat, it is very comfortable for both the rider and the pillion.
When this scooter went on bumpy and potholed roads, its suspension setup felt a little stiff. It absorbs small potholes easily, but on big potholes it causes a slight shock to the back.
Key knob of Suzuki Burgman Street.
One day it rained heavily during the review. Its tires maintained good grip on wet roads. Due to Combi Braking System (CBS), when we applied brakes suddenly, the scooter stopped safely without slipping. Its large floorboard and boot space under the seat helped a lot in keeping small shopping bags while going to the market.

Final Verdict
After this mixed riding experience of more than 100 kilometers, we can say that the 2026 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is a great all-rounder scooter. If your priority is style, space and comfortable riding position, then this can prove to be the best choice for you. The only minor drawback is the slightly stiff suspension on bad roads, but this can be easily ignored given its great looks, refined engine and daily commuting comfort. The company sells it at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹ 1,05,246.
