England squad for India ODIs — Tongue, Coles called into squad; Atkinson, Mahmood return

England has announced its squad for the three ODIs it will play against India later in the month.

All-rounder James Coles has been called up to the squad for the first time, fresh off having been called into the T20I squad for the first time, while fast bowler Josh Tongue is also in contention to make his ODI debut.

Saqib Mahmood and Gus Atkinson have also been called into the squad. Zak Crawley has lost his spot in the squad, meaning that Jacob Bethell is likely to be carded as an opener.

The three-match series will begin on July 14 at Edgbaston.
