This is Sai Kishore’s second stint in the County Championship, having previously played for Surrey in 2025.
The left-arm spinner will be available for selection from Gloucestershire’s Championship fixture against Worcestershire beginning on August 20. He will then feature against Derbyshire and Middlesex, as well as trips to Durham, Lancashire and Kent.
“I am deeply grateful to Jon and everyone at Gloucestershire for giving me this opportunity. Gloucestershire is a club with a rich history and a fantastic setup, and the chance to play my cricket here is incredibly exciting,” Sai Kishore said in a statement on the club’s website.

“I’ve always wanted to test my skills in English conditions, and after speaking with the management, I knew this was the right fit. I’m looking forward to wearing the jersey, meeting the fans at Bristol and Cheltenham, and doing my part.”
Sai Kishore has been a regular feature in both the IPL and domestic circuits, but has found the going tough in recent times. Tamil Nadu struggled in the recent domestic season, and he found himself sparingly used for Gujarat Titans in the recent IPL 2026.
