South Zone squad for Duleep Trophy confirmed — Tilak Varma leads 15-member side; Nair, Jagadeesan included

The South Zone squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2026-27 was announced on Saturday with Tilak Varma named as the captain for the 15-member squad.

Andhra batter Ricky Bhui will be his deputy. The squad also includes India international Karun Nair, who last played for for the national side during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.

The zonal competition begins on August 23 but South Zone will only be action on August 30 in the semifinal by virtue of reaching the final in the previous edition.
