The Warriors, chasing 156 in a reduced 15-over match, needed one run to win off the last ball and had two wickets in hand.
Pratham Saluja faced the final delivery from Tigers’ Laxman and played the ball towards mid-off. Himmat charged from his position at the edge of the circle, and attempted to pick the ball and throw at the stumps.
However, he gave up as he fumbled in collecting the ball, and in frustration kicked the ball at the stumps. To his surprise, it hit the stumps at the non-striker’s end and caught Saluja short of his crease.
The match ended in a tie but Outer Delhi Warriors clinched the ensuing Super Over.
