The Bangladesh Cricket Board named a 15-member squad for the 2026 Asian Games, with Litton Das leading the team at Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
Cricket will be played at the Asiad for the fourth time in the last five editions, having made its debut in 2010. The men’s tournament is scheduled between September 17 and October 3.
Bangladesh’s squad sees the return of major names from the team that played against Zimbabwe in July, including skipper Litton and Najmul Hossain Shanto.
In the last edition of the games, Bangladesh won bronze and will look to improve on it this time around.
Along with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, Bangladesh secured automatic qualification for the 2026 Asian Games alongside the hosts Japan. Nepal, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and Oman had booked their slot following the qualifier tournament.
