The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the schedule for the upcoming Test series against West Indies on Tuesday.
Bangladesh will host two Tests against the Windies as part of the World Test Championship (WTC) cycle. The first match will begin on October 28 in Mirpur, while the second will be played in Sylhet starting November 5.
The Bangla Tigers recently managed a 1-1 series draw away at Australia, including the side’s first-ever win on Australian soil. The team is currently placed fourth in the WTC standings, with three wins, one draw and two loses in its six Tests so far.
West Indies is placed eighth in the standings, with only Pakistan below them. The side has won just two out of 12 Tests this cycle, drawing two and losing eight.
There will be a three-day warm-up match ahead of the first Test.
