IND vs SL: Jadeja becomes fourth all-rounder with 4,000 runs and 350 wickets

This makes him only the fourth cricketer in history to achieve the feat of scoring 4,000 runs or more and taking at least 350 wickets.

Bowling in Sri Lanka’s first innings, Jadeja picked the wickets of Dhananjaya de Silva and Keshara Nuwantha after scoring just 13 runs in India’s innings.

Kapil Dev, Ian Botham and Daniel Vettori are the only others on this exclusive list. Out of the four all-rounders, Jadeja is the only one to have played fewer than 100 Tests.

Kapil leads the list with 5,248 runs and 434 wickets in 131 Tests for India, followed by Botham’s 5,200 runs and 383 wickets for England. New Zealand’s Vettori is third on the list, having amassed 4,530 runs and 362 wickets.
