Manav Suthar bowled a triple wicket-maiden to push India to the cusp of victory on the fifth day of its Test against Sri Lanka in Galle.
Suthar dismissed set batter Sonal Dinusha and Prabath Jayasuriya on consecutive deliveries before claiming Lahiru Kumara on the final ball of the over.
Dinusha tucked a leg-side delivery to leg-slip before Jayasuriya lost his stumps after missing a straight delivery. Kumara became the third victim of the over by feathering the ball behind to keeper Rishabh Pant.
He returned in the next over to bowl Keshara Nuwantha to seal a 165-run victory for India. He finished the match with figures of 10 for 131 in 45.2 overs.
Suthar now has 17 wickets in his first two Tests at an average of 11.35.
