IPL 2026 Dates: Start on March 26, Final on May 31

The IPL 2026 season will reportedly run from March 26 to May 31, retaining the same late-March to end-May window used in recent years.

While the BCCI is yet to release the full fixtures, the 19th edition of the league is expected to begin around three weeks after the men’s T20 World Cup, scheduled from February 7 to March 8 in India and Sri Lanka. The tournament will span just over two months.

For the second consecutive year, the IPL will overlap with the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is slated to take place from March 26 to May 3.

The previous edition of the IPL concluded on June 3, when Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted its maiden title. RCB edged past Punjab Kings by six runs in a tense final played in Ahmedabad, ending its long wait for an IPL trophy.
