Audi confirms Audi Revolut F1 Team name and January 2026 Berlin launch

Audi has recently revealed that its Formula One entry will be called the Audi Revolut F1 Team and confirmed that its official launch will take place in Berlin on January 20, 2026.The German auto-manufacturer, which announced its intention to join Formula 1 in 2022, will take over Kick Sauber’s place on the grid for the 2026 season. Audi has been working with Sauber to upgrade facilities in Germany, Switzerland and the UK ahead of its debut, which will begin at the 2026 season opener in Australia.
The team name confirms Revolut as title partner, following the announcement of the partnership in July. Audi, in a company statement, said Revolut “shares the ambition for innovation, performance, and connecting with a diverse, international audience” and described the collaboration as “a powerful alliance aimed at challenging conventions and shaping new forms of fan engagement.”
The partnership includes app-based benefits for Revolut users, fan activations, race access, the integration of Revolut Pay into Audi’s online store and the use of Revolut’s business services within the team’s financial operations under Formula 1’s cost cap.
