Kauvery Hospital launches institute of digestive sciences

Kauvery Hospital, Vadapalani, on Wednesday launched Kauvery Institute of Digestive Sciences for evidence-based care for gastrointestinal and liver diseases, alongside preventive and lifestyle-oriented interventions for patients across all age groups.

The institute features flexible endoscopes for diagnostic and interventional procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP (a procedure to diagnose and treat diseases of the bile and pancreatic ducts).

Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder and executive director, Kauvery Group of Hospitals; Pandurangan Basumani, Senior Consultant, Interventional Gastroenterologist, and Director, Kauvery Institute of Digestive Sciences; and T.K. Anand, Senior Consultant, Gastroenterologist, and Endoscopist, Kauvery Hospital, Vadapalani, were present, according to a press release.
