Alimento Agro Foods raises Rs 52 Cr in Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures

Alimento Agro Foods Pvt Ltd has raised Rs 52 crore in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures.

The company plans to use the capital to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen distribution across India, and invest in product development for its brands, MOM Meal of the Moment and Gimi Gimi.

Founded by Prateek Bhagchandka and Mugdha Bhagchandka, Alimento operates in the packaged and convenience food segment. MOM Meal of the Moment focuses on instant meals and snack products, while Gimi Gimi is positioned as a Korean-style noodle brand catering to growing interest in international flavours among Indian consumers.

According to the company, the funding will support scaling operations and widening market reach for both brands as they compete in increasingly crowded food categories.

“Both brands are seeing steady traction, and this investment will help us scale manufacturing, distribution, and innovation,” said Prateek Bhagchandka, Founder and CEO of Alimento Agro Foods.

Mugdha Bhagchandka, Co-founder and COO, said the company aims to build multiple consumer food brands over the long term.

Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner at IvyCap Ventures, said the investment was driven by Alimento’s product positioning and early market momentum. IvyCap has previously backed consumer and technology-led businesses across sectors.

Alimento Agro Foods operates as an FMCG company focused on ready-to-eat and convenience food products. With this funding round, it joins a growing list of Indian food startups seeking to scale branded offerings amid rising demand for packaged foods and evolving consumer preferences.
