Classrooms on government school campuses and libraries were inaugurated by the Chief Minister, M.K Stalin, through video conferencing here on Monday (December 22, 2025).

The classrooms at Krishnagiri Government Girls Higher Secondary School and Unisetty Government Higher Secondary School were inaugurated under the Department of School Education. The new buildings entailed six classrooms on the second floor of the Krishnagiri Government Girls Higher Secondary School constructed at a cost of ₹1.41 crore funded by NABARD. A total of four classrooms were built at Unisetty Government Higher Secondary School in Kelamangalam at a cost of ₹94 lakh.

Similarly, libraries at a cost of ₹22 lakh each were inaugurated at Mirigampalli, Sundekuppam, Panakamutlu in Krishnagiri constituency and Manjamedu, Vadamangalam, Periyapuliampatty in Bargur constituency. These libraries were inaugurated at a cumulative cost of ₹1.32 crore.

The event was presided over by Bargur MLA D. Mathialangan among others.
