CarDekho invests $10M in CollegeDekho

Founded in 2015 by Ruchir Arora, CollegeDekho enables students to find higher education opportunities in India and abroad. The edtech platform offers services like entrance test preparation, career and course selection guidance, admission support, and college discovery.
CollegeDekho will use this funding round to further solidify its presence in Tier II and III cities and deepen the reach of ‘CollegeDekho Assured,’ a programme that enables students to pursue industry-aligned degree courses with partner universities across India.
The ed-tech platform has partnered with over 2,000 universities and colleges. CollegeDekho claimed last year it had garnered nearly 170 million sessions and guided more than 4 million students for admissions.
On the investment into CollegeDekho, CarDekho co-founder and CEO Amit Jain said, “Our continued investment in CollegeDekho reflects our conviction in its ability to democratise access to quality education, guidance, and skilling for students across the country.”

Founded in 2008 by Amit Jain and Anurag Jain, CarDekho Group operates in the auto and finance solution platforms with nearly 50 million monthly active users. It has raised investments from Peak XV, Hillhouse Capital, CapitalG, Advent Group, Leapfrog, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank, amongst others.
