Keralite killed in car crash in Oman

A Keralite expatriate in Oman was among four people killed in a car crash at Rustaq in the Al Batinah South Governorate of northern Oman on Sunday night.

Sources in Muscat said Afsal, 40, from Chelari in Malappuram district, died on the spot. His car reportedly collided with another vehicle on Ibri Road carrying an Omani family.

The other victims were Omani citizens.

Three others injured in the crash had been admitted to Rustaq Hospital.
