Rajan Matric Higher Secondary School in Villapuram celebrated Christmas. The highlight of the event was the dance performances by the KG students, who were dressed in festive attire. Children squealed with delight as Santa distributed gifts and sweets, spreading joy and cheer.
Placement drive held

Solamalai Institutions, Veerapanjan, Madurai conducted a one-day Pooled Placement Drive for diploma students.

A one-day Pooled Placement Drive for diploma students was conducted by the Training and Placement Cell of Solamalai Institutions, Veerapanjan, Madurai, in association with Royal Enfield, Chennai.
The placement was open to all final-year diploma students from institutions across Madurai district. Around 150 students from various diploma colleges participated.
The selection process was carried out by Royal Enfield. A total of 100 students were selected.
Centre of Excellence inaugural ceremony
Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai, inaugurated Centre of Excellence in Banking, Applied Economics and Financial Markets, with support from the Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation, aimed at strengthening industry–academia collaboration and promoting financial literacy, community service, and research excellence.
Speaking at the event, Dean M. Balaji briefed the audience on the efforts behind establishing the Centre.
Chairperson Nalini G. S. introduced Centre of Excellence and presented a one-year roadmap focusing on digital financial literacy, securities market awareness, research development, and inclusive growth.
Director Murali Sambasivan highlighted the long-term vision of the Centre, emphasising financial literacy, MSME financial support, and quality research publications.
Chief guest B. Arul, Deputy Vice President and Regional Head, Madurai, spoke about Federal Bank’s commitment to community development since its inception in 1931.
Head of the Centre of Excellence V. Pradeep, proposed a vote of thanks.
International Conference

International Conference on Innovations in Science, Technology, Management and Public Health (ISTMPH) was organised by Yadava College, Thiruppalai, Madurai. It aims to foster and build a strong network among researchers, scientists and practitioners from across the globe to discuss the innovations that are shaping the future of science, technology, management, and public health.
Speaking on the event, principal C. Raju elaborated the importance of the conference and insisted to carry out and participate more on research, and development in the area of science, technology, management, and public health.
All the faculty members highlighted the aim of conference was to create a significant academic platform through professional talks by eminent speakers, encouraging positive interaction, effective knowledge sharing, and meaningful academic collaboration among participants.
