Dhruv Jurel smashes maiden List A hundred during UP vs Baroda Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 match

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel scored his maiden List A hundred, for Uttar Pradesh against Baroda in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match in Rajkot on Monday.

Jurel, who reached his hundred in just 78 deliveries, eventually ended unbeaten on 160, helping UP post a mammoth first-innings total of 369/7.

The 24-year-old, batting at No. 3, picked apart the Baroda bowling attack, scoring 15 fours and eight sixes. He was particularly harsh against Rasikh Salam, carting the pacer for 55 runs from 14 deliveries.

Jurel had begun his VHT 2025-26 campaign in style, smashing fifties against Hyderabad and Chandigarh in the first two rounds before his ton on Monday.

Jurel was part of India’s ODI squad for the series against South Africa and Australia, but didn’t feature in a game.
