Ducati, on Thursday, launched the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India, pricing the standard model at 17,50,200 and the higher-spec V2 S at 19,48,900 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle enters the market as a mid-capacity naked derived from the Panigale V2, featuring revised ergonomics and a stripped-down design for everyday use and track riding. The motorcycle is available across Ducati dealerships in India starting November 27, 2025.
Both variants are offered only in Ducati Red. The standard Streetfighter V2 uses fully adjustable Marzocchi front and Kayaba rear suspension, while the V2 S receives fully adjustable Öhlins units at both ends.
The S variant also switches to a lithium-ion battery, bringing its wet weight (without fuel) to 175 kg, compared with 178 kg for the regular model. Shared components include six-spoke Y-shaped alloy wheels, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres (120/70 front, 190/55 rear), and a Sachs steering damper.
Power comes from an 890cc, 90-degree V2 engine, Ducati’s lightest twin yet at 54.4 kg, compliant with Euro 5+ norms. It produces 119 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm at 8,250 rpm, with over 70% of peak torque available from 3,000 rpm.A racing exhaust available as an accessory raises output to 125 bhp and cuts 4.5 kg. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 for clutchless shifts and an oil-bath slipper clutch to stabilise the rear under braking.

The chassis uses a compact monocoque frame with the engine as a stressed member, aimed at better mass centralisation. A double-sided swingarm, inspired by the Panigale V4, works with the respective suspension setups.

Electronics are driven by a six-axis IMU, enabling cornering ABS with a slide-by-brake feature, Ducati Traction Control with predictive grip management, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, and Ducati Quick Shift. Riders can select from Race, Sport, Road and Wet modes. A 5-inch TFT screen offers three layout options: Road, Road Pro and Track.

A seat height of 838 mm and a narrow mid-section aim to help riders reach the ground. A variable-section aluminium handlebar, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and new footpegs complete the ergonomics package.

Accessories include a racing exhaust, Lap Timer Pro, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging, and tyre pressure monitoring. The Streetfighter V2 S additionally gets Ducati Power Launch and a pit limiter, targeting track-oriented customers.
