Assam Startup’s Xampark Connects Local Founders with Top Investors in Guwahati

The investor panel represented venture capital funds, angel networks, family offices, and accelerator-linked platforms. It included Amit Singal (Fluid Ventures and Indicorn Angels), Chahat Aggarwal (Asquare Capital), Anup Jain (BlueGreen Ventures Fund), Nakul Saxena (Solara VC), Pawan Raj Kumar (Zeca Capital), Shashank Randev (247VC), Navneet Kaushik (Jamwant Ventures), and Vijay Kumar Bawra (Sanchi Connect).
The programme opened with an introductory interaction between the investors and the Assam Startup team, followed by the flagship “Fund My Venture” pitch session. During the session, startups presented their business models, technologies, and growth strategies. Investors offered feedback focused on clearer positioning, sharper product focus, and execution readiness. The engagement concluded with a roundtable discussion and a networking dinner with investors and senior government officials, enabling deeper conversations on scale, market access, and long-term collaboration.
Senior officials from the Government of Assam were present, underscoring the state’s sustained focus on building an innovation-led economy. Dr Jeevan B., IAS, Secretary, Department of Innovation, Incubation and Startups (DIIS), Government of Assam, said that such platforms are critical for early-stage founders. He emphasised that continuous investor startup interactions, regardless of a startup’s size or stage, play a vital role in shaping resilient and scalable ventures in Assam.

The participating startups reflected the breadth of Assam’s innovation landscape, spanning deep tech, healthcare, climate tech, AI, mobility, food innovation, and bioenergy:
- AppOpen Technologies showcased an agentic AI platform enabling full stack app and software development from a single prompt.
- Respirit Healthcare presented its affordable respiratory health monitoring and diagnostics ecosystem.
- AORVIS Dynamic highlighted AI and sensor driven geophysical innovations across UAVs, defence, and infrastructure surveying.
- Borno Labs (Aakhor AI) demonstrated an offline Assamese speech to text platform.
- Bikozee Ecotech pitched a sustainability led mobility platform based on a cooperative ownership model.
- LW3 Private Limited showcased digital infrastructure for EV battery traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Laajawab (Spicenatura Foodtech) presented ready to cook dry marinades and seasoning solutions sourced from Northeast India.
- Aromica Tea highlighted its wellness tea range, including banana fibre tea bags and braille friendly packaging.
- Tholua Pratisthan showcased bio inspired nutraceuticals addressing hidden hunger through food as medicine solutions.
- Zymolent Biosciences presented enzyme innovations supporting second generation ethanol production and India’s biofuel goals.
