IND vs NZ 3rd ODI: New Zealand sets target of 338 — Full list of highest run chases by India in ODIs


India was set a target of 338 runs by New Zealand in the third and final ODI in Indore on Sunday.

If Shubman Gill and Co manages to overhaul this total, it will be the third-highest run chase in the team’s history. It’s highest successful chase stands at 360 runs, which came against Australia in Jaipur in 2013. This also holds the record for the highest target chased in a match played in India.

India has also chased 351 runs twice — against Australia in Nagpur in 2013, and against England in Pune in 2017.

The Men in Blue have chased down targets of 300 or more on 20 occasions in ODI cricket. If India fails to pursue the 338 runs on Sunday, it will suffer its first series defeat at home since 2022/23.
