Ducati brings Panigale V4 Tricolore to India at ₹77 lakh, with only a few of 1,000 units allotted

Italy on Track: Ducati has brought the Panigale V4 Tricolore to India as a limited series of 1,000 numbered motorcycles. The model is positioned as a collector’s bike and a tribute to “Made in Italy.” It reinterprets the livery of the 1984 Ducati 750 F1, unveiled forty years ago. Ducati notes that Tricolore graphics have appeared on its most prestigious Superbikes since the 1988 851 Desmoquattro.

India Arrival: The bike was formally introduced in New Delhi on January 20, 2026. Ducati said the Tricolore is produced in a strictly limited run of 1,000 units worldwide. The company added that only a very small number will be allocated to India. Bookings are now open across the country.

Asymmetric Design: The Panigale V4 Tricolore was designed by Drudi Performance with the Centro Stile Ducati. It carries an asymmetric white, red, and green livery reflecting the Italian flag. The lower fairing incorporates black-and-white checkered flag graphics. Number “1” plates appear on the front and side panels, similar to the Panigale V4 R and Multistrada Pikes Peak.

New V4 Base: The Tricolore is based on the new Panigale V4 platform. Ducati says it reflects the transition from the sixth to the seventh generation of its Superbikes. The motorcycle uses an integrated approach to aerodynamics and design. It features a revised chassis along with Ducati Vehicle Observer and Race eCBS electronics.

Track Focus: For the first time in a Tricolore model, Ducati has added equipment aimed at track performance. The bike uses five-spoke carbon fibre rims. These reduce weight by about 0.907 kg compared with the forged rims on the Panigale V4 S. Ducati claims this lowers the moment of inertia by 12 percent at the front and 19 percent at the rear.

Racing Brakes: The Panigale V4 Tricolore is the world’s first production motorcycle with the Front Brake Pro system. It uses two finned Brembo T-Drive discs measuring 338.5 mm in diameter and 6.2 mm in thickness. These were tested by Ducati factory riders during the 2024 Race of Champions. The setup includes Brembo Hypure callipers with anthracite anodising and an MCS 19.21 pump with remote adjustment.

Special Equipment: The motorcycle comes with a dry clutch, adjustable billet aluminium footpegs, and a GPS module. Track accessories include a solid aluminium racing tank cap, carbon fibre brake calliper conveyors, an open carbon fibre clutch cover, and a license plate removal kit. Ducati has also added an Alcantara seat, racing plexiglass, and a dedicated dashboard animation at key-on.

Unique Marking: Each Panigale V4 Tricolore carries an engraved machined aluminium steering plate. The plate displays the model name along with the individual unit number. Ducati says this is intended to underline the numbered nature of the series.

Collector Package: The bike is delivered with a certificate of authenticity and a dedicated motorcycle cover. Additional components arrive in a personalised box matching the Tricolore livery. The ignition key features an aluminium plate with the model number. Owners can also purchase a limited-edition jacket that mirrors the motorcycle’s colour scheme.

Specs and Price: The Panigale V4 Tricolore uses a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine producing 216 hp at 13,500 rpm and 90 ft-lb of torque at 11,250 rpm. It features a Front Frame, a 17-liter aluminum tank, and Ducati Electronic Suspension 3.0 with Öhlins NPX-30 fork, TTX 36 shock, and Smart EC 3.0 steering damper. Wet weight without fuel is 188 kg, 3 kg lighter than the standard V4 S. Pricing is set at 77 lakh ex-showroom India.
