Among the awardees, actor Keerthy Suresh has emerged as a key winner, having clinched the Best Actress award for her performance in the 2017 Tamil action-thriller Paambu Sattai.

The official award ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 13 at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai, where Keerthy Suresh is expected to receive the award in person. The event is likely to see the presence of several prominent figures from the Tamil film industry as awards across multiple categories are presented.

This latest recognition adds to Keerthy Suresh’s growing list of accolades. She had earlier won the National Film Award for Best Actress at the 66th National Film Awards for her portrayal of legendary actor Savitri in the 2018 Telugu biopic Mahanati. The performance marked a major milestone in her career and established her as a strong presence across multiple film industries.

On the work front, Keerthy Suresh has a busy slate of upcoming projects spanning languages and genres. She is set to star in Akka, a film backed by Yash Raj Films, which is being positioned as a high-profile pan-India project. The actor will also be seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Rowdy Janardhana.

In addition, Keerthy is making a return to Malayalam cinema with Thottam, where she stars opposite Antony Varghese, popularly known as Pepe. She is also part of an untitled project directed by Praveen S. Vijaay, co-starring Mysskin, and is reportedly collaborating with Rajkummar Rao on a film that he is producing.

With state-level recognition now joining her national award, Keerthy Suresh continues to maintain a steady presence across regional and Hindi cinema, balancing critically recognised performances with mainstream projects.
