Mhatre joins Kohli, Shaw: Full list of Indian captains to have won the Under-19 World Cup
India Under-19 sealed its record-extending sixth ICC Under-19 World Cup title with a convincing 100-run win over England U19 in the final of the 2026 edition in Harare on Friday.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s blistering 80-ball 175 was the cornerstone of India’s win, helping the team bat the opposition out, registering 411/9 in the first innings.
Skipper Ayush Mhatre, who himself contributed a solid half-century, wrote his name into the record books as a World Cup-winning Indian U-19 captain.
