Senior Women’s One Day Trophy 2025-26: Harleen guides Himachal Pradesh to win over Mumbai; Railways thrashes Kerala


India international Harleen Deol scored an unbeaten half-century as Himachal Pradesh beat Mumbai by eight wickets in the opening round of the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy 2025-26 season on Friday.

Harleen forged two match-winning partnerships, a 75-run second-wicket stand with Devanshi Verma before a 55-run stand with Himachal captain Sushma Verma, to help her team chase down 167 in 44.4 overs.

Sushmita Kumari starred for Himachal with the ball with a four-wicket haul as Harleen and Nikita Chauhan picked up two wickets each at the ACA Cricket Academy Ground in Fulung, North Guwahati.

Meanwhile, Railways bulldozed past Kerala with a thumping 131-run at the Usha Martin Ground in Ranchi.

Shipra Giri (118 off 114) top-scored for the winning side, and Bhavana Goplani scored a run-a-ball 68, to help Railways post 268 in 50 overs.

In response, Poonam Yadav picked a five-for, and S P Aich took three wickets, as Kerala was bundled out for 137 in 42.3 overs.
