ICC Rankings: Sikandar Raza replaces Saim Ayub as world’s No.1 T20I all-rounder
Raza led Zimbabwe to a convincing victory over Oman in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The all-rounder picked 1/17 in four overs and scored the winning runs as Zimbabwe thrashed Oman by eight wickets.
Among the other big movers in the top 10 was Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, who moved from seventh to third on the list for T20I batters, following his match-winning 73 off 41 balls against the USA at the T20 World Cup.
India opener Abhishek Sharma continues to lead the ICC rankings for T20I batters, ahead of England’s Phil Salt. New Zealand’s Tim Seifert, who has scored back-to-back fifties in the ongoing World Cup, moved up one place to eighth, while Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis gained six places to move to the 12th spot. India’s Ishan Kishan also made significant gains, moving up seven places to 25th on the list for T20I batters.
While India’s Varun Chakaravarthy still leads the ICC rankings for T20I bowlers, he only has a narrow advantage over Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga gained one spot, moving from sixth to fifth on the list for T20I bowlers.
