Italy claimed its first-ever win at the T20 World Cup, after it demolished Nepal by 10 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.
After winning the toss, the Italian bowlers restricted the opposition to just 123 with a disciplined effort. Leg spinner Crishan Kalugamage was the pick of the bowlers with a three-wicket haul.
KalugamageItaly began the tournament with a 73-run defeat to Scotland at the Eden Gardens.
Italy qualified for the T20 World Cup by finishing as runners-up at the 2025 Europe Regional Final.
