The KTM RC 200 is powered by a 199.5 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. This motor delivers 25 hp at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Hero Karizma XMR, on the other hand, comes with a slightly larger 210 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. On paper, the Karizma offers a marginally higher power and torque output, delivered at lower engine speeds compared to the KTM.

Suspension duties are handled by 37 mm telescopic front forks, while the rear gets a monoshock with six-step preload adjustment.As for braking, the KTM RC 200 features a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc. It comes equipped with dual-channel ABS. The Karizma XMR uses a 300 mm petal disc at the front and a 230 mm petal disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.
