Georgia Voll struck 88 off just 57 balls to guide Australia to a 19-run win over India in the second T20I at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Thursday. The three-match series is level 1-1.
The opener’s onslaught got the home side to 163 for five in 20 overs, a total too steep for the Indian batters to overhaul. Beth Mooney struck 46 to share a 128-run opening wicket stand.
In response, India could not string together momentum and scored just 144 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur was the top scorer for the visitor with 36 runs.
