Highest team scores in T20 World Cups: West Indies smashes 254/6 vs Zimbabwe to go second behind Sri Lanka


Powered by fifties from Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell, West Indies scored xxx for xx in its Super Eight game against Zimbabwe at the Wankhede on Monday.

West Indies’ total is the second-highest team score in T20 World Cup history.

Sri Lanka holds the record for the highest score in the tournament, thanks to the 260 for six it amassed against Kenya in 2007.

Earlier in the ongoing T20 World Cup, Ireland had cracked 235 for five against Oman in the group stage.
