Bajaj Auto leads in motorcycles above 125cc with brands such as Pulsar and Dominar, along with partner brands KTM and Triumph, while Hero and Honda dominate the entry-level below 125cc. Its current 125cc to 250cc lineup includes multiple Pulsar variants and the Dominar 250.
The automaker is preparing a refresh of its motorcycle portfolio by mid-2026, with eight new launches planned over the next four to five months and two product introductions scheduled each month over the next two quarters.Beyond the core commuter-plus segment, Bajaj is evaluating dual-sport and off-road formats under the proposed new brand and expanding its exports-led play in the 250cc-plus category, where Dominar has stronger demand overseas, including Mexico.
On the premium end, management flagged concerns over the GST increase on motorcycles above 350cc, saying it could shrink the segment, but added that development and investment plans remain unchanged.
Bajaj said it competes globally in the 250cc-plus category across 108 countries through Pulsar, Dominar, KTM and Triumph and is close to Royal Enfield in export leadership in this segment.
