Motorola’s new phone with Snapdragon processor for less than ₹ 25,000, gets 7000mAh battery, open sale from March 12

Motorola has launched its new mid-premium smartphone Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in India. The company has introduced this device with a powerful battery, high-refresh-rate display and AI features. The starting price of the phone has been kept at ₹ 24,999, due to which it can become a strong option in the segment.

According to Motorola, this smartphone will be available for sale through online platform Flipkart, Motorola’s official website and offline retail stores.

Price and Offers
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has been launched in three variants.

• 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – ₹26,999
• 8GB RAM + 256GB storage – ₹29,999
• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage – ₹32,999

However, their effective prices reduce after bank and exchange offers. After the offer, 8GB + 128GB variant can be purchased for ₹ 24,999, 8GB + 256GB for ₹ 27,999 and 12GB + 256GB model for ₹ 30,999. The company is also offering an instant discount of ₹ 2,000 on HDFC Bank and Axis Bank credit cards.

Sales and Availability
Motorola said that after the early bird sale of this smartphone, the open sale will start from March 12 on Flipkart, Motorola.in and offline stores. The phone has been launched in three Pantone-curated color options – Blue Surf, Curry Air and Sylheoit.

Display and performance
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has a 6.78-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display, which comes with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Its peak brightness goes up to 5200 nits and the screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

For performance, it has been provided with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, with which the option of up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage is available. Vapor-chamber cooling system is also provided in the phone for better thermal management.

For photography, the phone has a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with OIS. Apart from this, 13MP ultra-wide + macro camera and 32MP front camera is available. The phone supports 4K video recording from all lenses.

For power, the phone has a large 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 68W TurboPower fast charging.

AI and other features
This smartphone runs on Halo UI based on Android 16. Integration of Moto AI, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity AI is also provided in it. Apart from this, the phone also includes features like IP68 and IP69 water resistance, MIL-STD-810H durability certification, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC.
