Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be launched in India on March 11, will get 90W fast charging and Snapdragon processor, price leaked

China’s leading tech company Xiaomi has confirmed that its new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 17 and tablet Xiaomi Pad 8 will be launched in India on March 11. Recently these devices were introduced in the global market and now the wait for Indian users is also about to end.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be provided with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa-core chipset, which is based on 3nm process technology. This processor claims to provide better speed, great gaming and power efficiency. The phone will have support for LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, due to which apps will load fast and multitasking will remain smooth.

6000mAh battery and fast charging
The Indian variant will have a large battery of 6,000mAh. According to the company, this device can last for about 1.5 days on a single charge.

It will have 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. Xiaomi claims that the battery will retain 80% of its capacity even after 1,600 charging cycles, which will ensure better performance for a long time.

Latest Software and Availability
This smartphone will work on Hyper OS 3 based on Android 16, which will give users a new interface and advanced features. Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 will be sold through Amazon and the official website of Xiaomi India.

The price in India has not been officially announced yet. In the global market, the price of Xiaomi 17 starts at EUR 999 (approximately ₹ 1,07,000), while the price of 16GB + 512GB variant of Xiaomi 17 Ultra is EUR 1,499 (approximately ₹ 1,61,000). The starting price of Xiaomi Pad 8 has been kept at EUR 449.9 (about ₹ 48,000).
